Clicker training #4 - Fly to me

Pumpkin fly's to me

i only tried this once b4 i recorded it
(9 month old cockatiel)

I have him for 89 days it's been 16 days since he 1st sat on my hand

TIPS:
To do this you need once again a clicker and some treat

STEP 1
Get your bird to trust you and stand on your hand

STEP 2
Get him to sit on your hand and stay there
*you can see that in my video:
(Clicker training #3 - sitting on my hand)

SETP 3
Finally when the bird is comfortable make him takes small steps from the cage to your hand/ fingers, then make him jump to you, and finally fly

Keep going back gradually, so it won't be a huge distance for the bird and it won't be intimidating or discouraging
