Our entry for the REACH Awards Film Festival. We made it to the finals but didn't win.

This is our film about Irena Sendler and her truly amazing efforts to save the Jewish children.

  • Hello, there!

Thank You for this brilliant, brilliant post!!!

    - Can You make the voices of the speakers appear a little bit less "hectic"...?

    Humbly Yours,

    Jan Michael Sendler.

  • They appear so hectic because our film would not have been eligible for the competition if it had been too long. We were severely restricted by time, and this is the final version of the film. We wish we had had time to make a more fitting tribute to Irena Sendler, but sadly we didn't. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and support.

    Sincerely,

    Cody

    - Compare this to any news on the radio or TV that You can think of: Those people talk a lot in a very brief period of time.

I bet, and I hope, that this simple improvement will make Your project appear very much more professional and sincere, hence far more "authentic"! - Even if it is too late for the entry now, for You and Your fellows this should be something to think about. If not here, then for the future.

    Yours, J. M. Sendler.

  • We'll definitely remember that in the future, and the narration was one of the things that we really wished we had been able to fix. Sadly, the editing software we used to create the video is unavailable to us for now. If an opportunity to improve the video comes up, I will gladly take it. Thank you for the advice, and I will remember it when I get a chance to edit the video.

    Thanks,

    Cody

  • You need to speak SLOWER.. Wonderful video clip.

  • Excellent student presentation! I don't care if the students sounded rushed, they sounded genuine and more importantly knew what they were talking about. What a wonderful thing to do, Irena will continue to change the world through students like these. VERY WELL DONE!

  • Wzruszający film...mam łzy w oczach... Pozdrowienia z Polski

    Cody,

Thank Your for this answer... - I don't think that speaking the same words just a little bit more calmly would take up any more time at all, not even a split-second.

OK, none of You is a professional speaker/reader, but the phrases that are being read out here are all well prepared. So perhaps You want to give it a try: Tell the people to somewhat "study" their respective words and have them speaking them fast, yet not in hectic.
