Basic Economics:

Division of Labor:
Two people can get more work done working together than individually.
More is produced.

Law of Supply and Demand:
More production leads to reduced prices.

NAFTA increases the division of labor resulting in more production and lower prices.
Jobs will be created. Jobs will be lost.
The net result will be beneficial to the economy as a whole.

Free trade is vital for North America and I can't believe that people think NAFTA is bad for a capitalist nation. On the other hand why are we not behind these candidates to stop exporting raw materials to china. China is our threat not mexico or canada. Stop shopping at wal mart and help a local business if you want to keep jobs in America

I hear a "shit -bird " chirping. Its made the rich,ultra-rich and has gutted manufacturing in this country. The guy that used to make a living at a job where you could hold your head high and feed a family w/o working 2 jobs is now lucky to be stuffing a box in a distib. center for half the wages no benefits. Good jobs invigorate local economies by paying taxes and giving a guy a decent buck to reinvest in his/her community. Now its a race to the bottom and we are almost there. This is Bullshit.

Mcain speaking like the puppet he is.Manufacturing in the USA is long gone and never will return. How we or companies from USA will compete against 5 cents an hour, no benefits,no environmental laws chasing them.Only well come to work earn a misery and go home, don't like it ok bring another slave.USA will be an island, everything will be imported.Even hershey chocolate factory is moving to Mexico everything will go.America is controlled by the Companies.
