I found out about Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan; the singer of this song; when I bought a Bhudda Bar CD. I fell in love with this song immediately; may be because of the reggae beat or the soft and beautiful voice. I came to find out that he's a Pakistani singer who died at the age of 47. check wikipedia by researching Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
