This whole movie plays out more like a video game than real war, with the US supersoldiers each on his own gunning down a thousand stupid maniac charging japanese, and of course the US soldiers have unlimited ammunition, for if you watched the movie attentavely you would notice that they never need to reload. They don't even have to aim, as you can see Nicholas Cage firing one burst into the air and then 10 japanese fall to the ground screeching "waaaakhkhkhkh!"
