@michaeljking It still throws away the primary power supply. While Dragon does in fact appear to be a good system, I look forward to seeing this concept fly off against the Dream Chaser.

@BernieEOD This capsule is re-usable...

I support Space X and the Falcon/Dragon concept. Although we all would a love a next gen shuttle or SSTO vehicle, the truth is there is no demand for it and no money. Also we need something NOW otherwise we will be depending on the Soviets using cold war tech to get orbit and the ISS. Space X like Armadillo, Masten Space are using proven concepts and developing additional tech to make it happen more effectively and efficiently

another back-boiler for spaceship......

A seven person Soyuz at that.

This mentality killed the X-33 / Venture Star. Single stage to orbit is a good concept but still ahead of its time.
Shuttle 2.0 should incorporate teh following:
- Air Launch with a fly back booster
- Variable sizes just like our air liners
I will be glad to e mail you some concepts
-
the shuttle is a design based on old technology, exactly like this is.
i look forward to seeing new designs based on new concepts available today.
not just a Shuttle 2.0

Cheaper than Orion.
I would prefer to see a 2nd generation shuttle. The disposable spam can is not the way to fly.
I look forward to seeing the Bensen Space Dream Chaser compete with this system.

It already is.

much better then Orion
This is the best rocket ever made. Basically, it is a next generation Soyuz Rocket.
