This was footage I'd taken driving up to Leeds, collecting a job returning to Wolverhampton. - The last part of the film, the countryside, was taken on a run to Halesworth in Suffolk and not Leeds, but more of a camera position test run.
Road Rage Incident - Loaded up and driving uphill along the slip road, I glanced to my right ready to merge in, a car drew level with me, I couldn't get in front, not enough speed, so I eased off to drop in behind the car, then the car slowed down even more, mirroring my movements - Stalemate!
Both of us were now almost stopped, her / him in lane 1 and me on the slip road, on a very busy motorway, not a good situation! - Hence the Foghorn Language...

  • @harrygoozee Funny how I don't see many of that style on my travels. They appear quite rare it seems.

  • @Bevoin1970 They are rare, they arent in production now.

  • @harrygoozee That would explain it then... thanks :-)

  • @birdman404 Editing is the easy part, anyone can chop bits and pieces out, fade in fade out, fancy transitions etc etc. I love the editing part, its the bit where you turn a load of any old footage into something watchable, hopefully.. ha ha well thats the theory.

I had to use those snow clips, they were gathering dust and needed throwing out, past their sell by date you could say - anyway they are now gone forever, and so is the snow too.

    Have a good weekend :-)
