He was definitely slacking towards the end. He could easily have done faster than maybe 9.6. In any case, that's extremely fast. The faster track runners in my school did 12.2 and it looked as fast as the devil, what about almost 3 seconds less? Either way, it is quite an achievement. I grant him that.

Usain also slacked off toward the end of his 9.69 WR. It's like as if something invisible is carrying them.

Asafa backed off close to the finish because this race was a heat. The Grand Prix in Reiti is two rounds, and this was simply a qualifying heat to get to the final. After running this heat he stated that he was saving himself for the final.

ok ok ok
everytime someone brakes a world record, they get paid shitloads of money, wot u see in races today, is the best slowing down so they can still beat their records. take bolt and powell, if they ran their hardest in a race, no slacking, they would get around 9.5 or less. no doubt that they know what their best is, that would've run it in training and then trained to only just beat their records

lol 9.5, I don't think Asafa slacked down in the olympics, he got a shitty time anyway. But Bolt did and perhaps he could have done 9,5. But Bolt has also run many races where he goes for 100% and yet have got a crappy time. Sometimes you run well sometimes you don't, it's not like they're sacking down everytime the run lol...
