Choco'lite candy bar commercial - 1975

A commercial from 1975 for Nestle's Choco'lite candy bar. The quality isn't very good but it is the only commercial for it that I have found anywhere - thanks to Fuzzymemories.tv. They must have stopped making these in the late 70s or early 80s at the latest.

Last time I bought a Choco-Lite was at the Super X in Beechmont Mall in 85 or 86....the candy bar is long gone, Super X is long gone, and the mall is also long gone.

All Nestle has to do is remarket this as either Aero or the old Choco-Lite more aggressively in the U.S. and your prayers will be answered.

I remember being a little kid in the 70's and LOVING these bars. The only thing I could remember was that "crescent" on the chocolate bar but couldnt remember the name. Now I know it.. heh :) Thanks, this brings back some great memors. I had the new Hersey's aerated bar this week but it pales in comparison.

When I was 4 or 5 I stole one of these from a drugstore, and my mom didn't notice until we left. She didn't wait until we got home to whoop my ***. Right there on a busy sidewalk, she was so mad. I never stole anything from any store again.

My favorite candy bar as a kid. I vaguely can remember the crocodile commercial, was there a choco-waterslide in it as well? Tried Hershey's Air Delight bar tonight and it's no where as good as Choco'lite or Stratos. Hershey's chocolate is waxier, and less creamy. Not bad by any means, it's just once you've tasted the others I mention they sort of raise the [chocolate] bar.

I think the earlier, animated commercial opened with a kid putting a flag on top of a "chocolate mountain". One version of that same ad had an animation of the chocolate "flying" by; "It feels so light, like it has wings!"
