William H. Bonney (born William Henry McCarty, Jr. Nov 23, 1859 -. July 14, 1881)
Folk hero, gunman and outlaw, was called Billy the Kid also known as Henry Antrim, or Kid Antrim, was a 19th-century American frontier outlaw and gunman who was involved in the Lincoln County War.

His (supposed) grave with headstone is at 34° 24.253′ N, 104° 11.593′ W. about three and a half miles south of State Highway 60 on Route 212.

If your gonna make a documantray about the most famous american outlaw legend u got to get it right and in the young guns movie were he escape from his friend mcsweens store when all those corrupt posse's and the the civil war union bluecoat soldiers had billy and his gang surrounded they fired hundreds of bullets at them but when they got away 5 of them got riddled with bullets in the movie they only show 2 get kill..but all together i think billy and his regulators at full force were around 40

Hes not an outlaw when you think of it, he really was a victim fighting against justice of a crooked county system that got away with murder & avenged the deaths of 4 of his closest friends & was branded an outlaw. He killed to avenge the deaths of friends, killed to escape, killed to defend himself, He sounds more like a hero, a true friend, a victim, & a guy who had an edge against corruption & got killed fighting it. But did damage.He really killed 12 people instead of 21.

Lincoln County War lasted 1877-1878, Billy The Kid's reign terror in New Mexico lasted 1877-1881.

1887 at 08:22 is incorrect. I believe it is 1877. Billy died in 1881.

so there is no mystery weather or not The Kid lived until the 1950's, he died and was buried. So why is everyone creating stories to fiction?
