BOTH, RAO THE SINGER AND USTAD SHAIK DAWOOD ARE FROM HYDERABAD, INDIA. AND THE OTHER INTERESTING THING IS THE LATE POET SAYEED WHO WROTE THIS GHAZAL WAS ALSO FROM HYDERABAD, INDIA. GREAT COMBINATION. IT RARELY HAPPENS.

Thank you for this nostalgic look at the past. I must say this is one of the best gazals I have heard. The rendering and music are just awesome. tabla and harmonium in perfect sync. Again thank you.

Ustad Shaik Dawood was a fine Vocalist . His Gramaphone records was realised in 1952 by a private company called Chimanji Lal, Hyderabad.

The poet was a celebrety of Hyderabad wellknown for his Smilles of BURQ O AYSHYANA. he died few years back in Hyderabad had some beautiful collection of Gazals to his Credit.

Pandith Vithal Rao and Sayeed Shaheedi both are from Hyderabad (Deccan) PVR started his career as a menmber of Shahi band of earstwhile State of Nizam, after 1948 he appear as a solo artist of Ghazal and for the last 70 years he is presenting his art, a founder member of Fine Arts Academy, Hyderabad. Given performences all over the World,beside providing Music to some films.He is a deciple of Ustad Shaik Dawood Saheb, learn tabla some aspects of gazal Singing.Ustadji was a fine singer of Khayal
