The Philadelphia Church of God is one of the splinter groups. Members revere cloaked whore, Herbert Armstrong, who molested his daughter repeatedly for years. My sister abandonded her minor-aged daughter because she wanted no part of this cult. She made her daughter ride for three hours from Redmond, OR, to Salem, OR, sit in a locked car at the end of the parking lot all day without food while she attended the cult for the day, and then a "minister forced her to fast after a "counseling" session

@marcryan71 One excellent purpose of this video is that it showed your lack of compassion for the victims of Herpies and Gonerrhea Armstrong. The Philadelphia Church of God continues the abuse. My sister and her "god ordained head of the household forced my minor-aged niece to walk for an hour on a highway in Redmond, OR, when she told them she wanted no part of Herpies' cult. Only by luck a friend spotted her and picked her up. Your reference to "pagan rituals" is irrelevant & stupid

This video, while mostly accurate, is presented in such a way as to alienate your intended audience...prospective members of these Churches. That is your aim, right? I would suggest you post something that relies on critical thinking rather than rhetoric. The 10 added commandments part was the low point. A cursory study of the facts proves these beliefs to be consistent with Bible teachings. You SERIOUSLY think that Christ's birthday was on Dec 25? Wikipedia just threw the BS flag at you.

Preponderance of evidence and testimony of eyewitnesses and victim indicates that Herbert Armstrong had an incestuous relationship with his eldest daughter Beverly that took place between her late teens to adulthood (even in to her marriage). Armstrong claimed he was being directly inspired by God and preached in His name during these years. To me, that completely discredits him as an "apostle", as he claimed to be. Having said that, I found the content of your vid to be highly sensationalized.

I was a member of the WCG and the PCG (1984-2002), and have first hand knowledge of these organizations. All in all I found the members and most of the ministers to be genuine in their faith. That being said there were many proven abuses. My best friend (son of a PCG minister) died a lingering 18-month (very curable) disease and death to show his faith. (cont'd)

I can prove and gurantee you this was absolute non sense, especially when the man wrote a book called "The Missing Dimension in Sex". The WWCG is a cult. HWA claimed to be influenced by God and his followers believed him. THAT is a cult. HWA never denied molesting his daughter...
