1st, the name of the song is "SUGAR HILL"...2nd, Biggie's style was thug when he hit....you can thank Pac and Puff for suggesting him (Big) to change up it up...even then, his focus was never primarily "materialism". 3rd, it's "K"ool G Rap...also, I stated that it was the Willie era (materialistic/fashion name dropping) and not simply AZ's song that helped bring the East Coast back.

I always think before I post, you're dealing with a vet here. (:

West Coast, it is not. AZ was part of the firm with NAS, Foxy Brown, and everyone else.

I don't think so, this was a "BIG"era for east coast how could you forget BIGGIE. Lets think a little before we spread false information. AZ's SUGAR FREE is just another example of some of NY's greatest rappers being underated does COOL G RAP ring a bell? If any group kept NY in the game during its toughest compettition era of the early 90's, I would have to say that it would be the WU TANG CLAN ,NAUGHTY BY NATURE, MOP & NAS and JIGGA WAS ON THE WAY and we Know what he did. KANYE & the SOUTH now
