Original 1989 HBC radio promotional use only mix

Bryan OQuinn Bottom Line Lyrics:
(P. Glass)

Na, na na na na na
Na, na na na na na na
Na, na na na... (repeat)

You say you're steady, 'n you're committed
But last night you weren't
around when I needed you
You keep talkin', but I need action
This divided affection just won't do...

I hate to give you an ultimatum
But when I'm in love, I want it all the way...oh

Oh, that's the bottom line
If you really wanna keep my love
Baby give it up what's mine...(oh oh oh)

Oh, that's the bottom line
I can't settle for a part-time thing
Need your lovin' all the time...

No imitations, give me the real thing
Sugar-coated promises are not enough for me,
'Cause if you're fakin', don't be mistaken
I'll be out the door, before
the count of three...

I hate to sound uncomprimising
But I'm never gonna play nobody's fool...

Oh, that's the bottom line
If you really wanna keep my love
Baby give it up what's mine...(oh oh oh)
Oh, that's the bottom line
I can't settle for a part-time thing
Need your lovin' all the time...

Na, na na na na na
Na, na na na na na na
Na, na na na... (repeat)
Lyrics: Bottom Line, Bryan OQuinn [end]

  • I remember seeing Bryan OQuinn perform live at the Coca-Cola culture jam with his band everybody was saying Prince has gone hip hop In a good way LOL I would love to hear your perform this track live... any dates and where?

  • Im blown away that you remember that I will be performing this song again in my live show along with my newers songs added in However I was real young when I made this record it was its kind of high in pitch but I can still make this rock live no doubt LOL -- Thank You, for staying in touch with me my work ! God Bless you!

  • Dang this is cool as hell. So the Fu-Schnickens sample this. That was a cool group from back in the days when Hip Hop culture had more soul to it.

  • Man, thanks for propping up my oldies but goodie records from back in the day Its cool people like you that truly keep the hip-hop culture alive! Thank You

  • I heard same sample than FU-SCHNICKENS "can I rock" feat. shaq o'neal

  • Wow I really didnt think anybody but me would remember that info ...; )

The Fu-Schnickens were an American hip-hop trio. Similar to Das EF The Fu-Schnickens' popularity was brief but significant in hip hop history.

  • Its still awesome that mainstream America didnt know what Pum Pum was and this song was an underground monster. New Jack Swing could always rock the m..f./. House!!!
