Glimpses from the 2009 Himalayan Odyssey organized by Royal Enfield India. The 2700km round trip from Delhi to Khardung La via Leh and back with over 50 riders was completed in 14 days. There were good roads, bad roads, off roads and then of course, road-less-ness. It is a challenge for the men and their machines alike. Well perhaps, more for the men because they are riding the Bullet.

  • Wow! That looks like fun. I'm impressed that the Enfield factory would put together such a difficult ride. I'm in America, and I don't think Harley-Davidson would ever organize a ride through snow, rocks, rivers and mud. India is really beautiful. Thanks for making this video. I recently got a 2001 Bullet 500, and I love it. I've made a few videos of rides in California and posted them on my YouTube page.

  • Thanks for checking out my video.. Enfield is definitely turning ordinary bikers to passionate bikers. How did you get introduced to Bullet? what do you like in it? the Classic looks, the exhaust note...

  • I love my country..

I just wish to be in one of these trips..

Anyone can tell me when it starts???

  • I live in Californa, and Bullets aren't sold here. People have to bring them in from other states, so they are rare. I read about them in a magazine and hadn't actually seen one until I saw the one I have now for sale, and I had to have it. I like the look, the simplicity, and the way every part has a purpose as well as an aesthetic function in making the bike look beautiful. It sounds great with the loud muffler, too. And it gets 58 mpg around town.
