@onepinkrose took them and polished them up and finished them and improved parts. (ie patience). Axl and Izzy were kinda like songwriting partners in the band.

@onepinkrose its because Axl didnt feel that steven deserved as much royaltys as the rest of the band cause he really didnt write anything, so he took the other 5%, the band just didnt argue with him as they were to in the life to care. also, most of the lyrics on appetite were written by Slash, Izzy, Duff and Axl. with the exception of some of the songs such as its so easy and Mr. Brownstone. what he means by Izzy wrote most of their hits, is Izzy wrote the base structure for lyrics and Axl

@AstalaMisti Yeah, of course, Izzy wrote most of their hits! How do you explain Axl writing all the lyrics on Appetite, Slash says so in an interview on here, just type in ''Duff and Slash 88'' and hear him tell you so. And how do you explain Axl taking a 25% share of the royalties from Appetite, whereas Izzy only took 20%, Slash clearly states this in his book.

Izzy Stradlin.. a guy who needn't no introduction! 03/02/2011 Where's Izzy?? He doesn't like to show up very much. But I love him
