  • I wish Alex still played his PRS collection.

  • Yeah, me too. They sounded so good. I know he likes Gibson, but he even said he liked PRS because they were a mix of Fender and Gibson.

  • for 3 guys they sure do make some noise, neil peart is simply the best!!!!

  • I prefer the sound of the Gibson's live - i have compared various versions of his sound on many live cuts over the years, and at least to my untrained ear, it seems that he gets a heavier sound. also prefer he play the ES-355 and the Howard Roberts fusion ( a fantastic guitar)as much as possible

I also like the look of les pauls the best - i can't explain why they just like rock and roll to me (probably because you mostly see Jimmy Page with a les paul)

PRS seems like a fine guitar though

  • I trust Geddy earned enough money on this tour to purchase his own washer/dryer combo so that he doesn't have to do laundry during the performance.

  • washing machines ?? XD !!

  • Amazing!

  • My favorite Rush song

  • The power chords in this tune and in several other RUSH songs sound like great surrealistic bells to me. GGOOOONNNNGGGG.

  • @pm3181 I would tend to agree with you on the tone end of Gibson guitars. As far as the Howie Roberts Fusion, the tone of the guitar is insane! I am pretty pro ES-335, but the Fusion sounds better (IMO). Seeing Jay Roberts play dad's Fusion a few years back was enough to remind me of how great the tone really is. Not a very commonly used guitar. PRS is a very fine guitar, but it is not a Lester, either....

  • @3Storms Yeah I know I saw them. Alex also so used a PRS variant with a single coil bridge pickup for Time Stand Still

  • @jesse1291 He does. On this previous tour, he used his PRS for one song, while mostly using a LP with a Floyd in it for the majority of the set, and finishing with an ES-335. The PRS just isn't his primary guitar any more.

  • greatest band ever lived, send me messege if you want to know something bout them i only know
