Our first Math Encounters (March, 2011) featured world famous MIT professor and author, Erik Demaine (with a special introduction by Renaissance Technologies founder, Jim Simons). During the event, Erik discusses the mathematics of folding in and leads participants in a hands-on origami creation activity.
