@slingshotmcoy "mainstream" music takes no skill. there's hip hop out there that has masterful beats and poetic lyricism. although erik's music still takes more skill of course. he's insane

@barrywalsh789 But the thing is, the popular hip-hot artists now don't have good sounding beats in the first place. Now they just pay some guy more than my car is worth to write 4 bars of "something", repeat it through the whole song, and then "write" lyrics that the artist thinks is somehow (a loose use of the word) 'catchy'.
