Le Mans 24 Hours 1969 - La Ronde Infernale Part 1 of 4. Includes an onboard lap with Peter Sadler's GT40. Summary of the teams such as Matra, JWA Gulf GT40s, Ferrari and Porsche with their 908 and the new 917. Interviews with Vic Elford, Mike Parkes, Rico Steineman, Chris Amon and Mike Hailwood and a very brief appearance of Steve McQueen.

4:42 onboard start... OMG that engine (and exhaust) sounds amazing. This is a great video all-around but that GT40 is one of the best sounding race cars of all time IMHO.

we are only doing 200 miles per hour true that corner, one of the craziest things i have ever heard haha. it makes me sad that i missed this era in racing and that it will never be like this again.
