It is stupid because the ONLY point of this game is not to get a beating, stay under a difference of 140 or less and be the first to get the snitch. You're winning by 140 points, the opposite team gets the snitch, you lose; you're losing by 160 points, you get the snitch, you lose. What's the point of scoring goals? This is no more than a variation of handball, but instead of a goal you've got those rings, that's all. Substitute the broomstick for a stick-basket and you'll be playing lacrosse.

wow.... what crawled up your guys asses and died. it's just a fun game that people play. Just because it's not a competitive official sport doesn't make it stupid. Thank you. We would do it twice a year as a fundraiser. I find it funny that people get so worked up about it . . . it's really hard for me to understand . . .

The snitch was actually a person with a tennis ball taped to his/her back that we let loose at the beginning of the game to just RUN RUN RUN around campus.

what did you use for the snitch? cause i'm thinking of like somebody dressed in gold running around while the seekers are trying to catch them. That would be funny to see

Hah! Actually, we used someone running around with a tennis ball taped to their back . . . we just let 'em loose across campus and then the seeker went and found 'em.
