@kenyaaxoxo I wasn't brave enough to do a BIG chop. I let my hair grow out until I could put it in ponytail and then one day after a wash, I chopped off my permed ends. When I started over in 2009 I just kept chopping and chopping the dead ends until I was left with what you see today. :)

@mischerokee13 Yeah my ignorance really messed me up. Did you start over? Or are you working with it until it grows out?

when you got heat damage, how often were you flat ironing?

@babiixcrazii I would flat iron every couple of months (on HIGH heat). But the real heat damage came from blow drying my hair straight (as straight as I could get it anyway) just to cornrow or get extensions.
