Conan Memories

I grew tired of trying to convey to friends how entertainingly absurd Schwarzenegger and director John Milius's commentary track is on the Conan: The Barbarian DVD, so I created this. If you have watched the film with the commentary track on, you will probably notice that I missed a few gems, but you get the point. Enjoy!

It's not just an accent, it's his persona. I met Donna Douglas once, and she was still enveloped in her Ellie May Clampett character from the Beverly Hillbillies, despite living in Hollywood for more than 5 decades.

It's a very thick accent, after a certain age the accent isn't very likely to leave because you only absorb accents and ways to pronounce up until a certain age. At this point only therapy would be able to make him change his accent.
