The Pub-Lic Artist. A Story in Montage

The story of international award winning Australian artist, James Baines, who captured the spirit of Australian communities and landscapes in a series of montages. A story of a very personal journey through which James came to create a very public art form in a uniquely Australian way. The documentary will feature footage of James creating both "Broome Odyssey" and "Bombs over Darwin" interviews with James and the friends he made in the process that played such an important part in the creation of these works through their stories and local knowledge.
