I love how this song is about Halifax. Live just a few hours outside the city... I understand.

Is this about Halifax? Yes, it is...but I think (perhaps because "Gordon" came out the summer of 92, right before I started university) that it's really about a typical frosh year. You discover a new place/city, try everything about it and for a time, you get tired of the city (it becomes your enemy). And this remains one of my favourite BNL songs of all time.

Led Zeppelin isnt Led Zeppelin with out John Bohnam. Pink Floyd aint Pink aint Pink Floyd without Syd Barret. The Greatful Dead aint the Greatful Dead without Jerry Garcia. And the Barenaked Ladies sure as hell aint the Barenaked Ladies without Steven Paige. More Paige = More Awsome.
