@jakemcdonald97 Look at 0:53 he holds one of the bows up. The string is not touching the belly side of the bow, so its a flatbow. A recurve has a bigger recurve so the string rests against the bow when strung.

They are FLATBOWS!!!!!! I'm getting annoyed now lots of these videos labelled longbows are Americans with flatbows. Its not a traditional longbow at all, a traditional longbow is between 5'8 and 6'6 approx and has a D cross sectional all the way through the bow. Notice these bows have flat limbs and a quiet thick handle. These are flatbows.

Hunting geese with a bow now thats skill wow! Im a bow hunter myself but have never really been big on hunting geese I just dont like the idea that you widow a goose when you shoot its mate, that never really did sit right with me but I dont begrundge those that do hunt them but to hunt them with a bow must be very difficult.....
