After watching a lot of video's on prong collars I must say I love your approach to them. You are very clear and concise on what you are doing. It makes it easier to understand what to much easier than others. Thanks for sharing the information. If we ever get to our area we will def look you up.

First, thanks for all your videos. You've given me a few more tools for my training tool box.
Did a Part 3 of How to Use a Prong Collar ever get uploaded?

How come none of the dogs in the video have the prong fitted correctly?

Depending on the size of the dog, how hard the dog pulls, and how forcefully the person holding the leash yanks, choke collars can cause invertebral disk protrusion.

@MsLabMom This statement is true of choke chains, however, to my knowledge there is no documented evidence of this with prong collars.

As a positive trainer, I do not believe in using aversives in training. That said, this is an excellent video on the proper way to use negative reinforcement. I wish more people could see this video. Great job.

@ahmedabuzayed If you follow these steps you can start right away. This is a very gentle approach to using a prong.
