Toys for Tots visits Tipps Elementary in Mansfield, TX

On Thursday, December 14, 2006, Roberta Tipps Elementary (the school Anara goes to in Mansfield) was visited by the Marine Corp, picking up the toys collected by the school for the Toys For Tots program. The local television station Fox 4 was there covering the event, including the helicopter landing. Mrs. Corn's class (the one with Anara!) won the contest for the most toys brought in and they got to sit front and center for the landing. Below is a clip of the report that ran that evening and Anara was in several shots. Way to go kids!
