Just because someone's offended by something doesn't mean it's wrong, or harmful, or insulting. My mom's a Jesus freak. Every swear word hits her like a ton of bricks. That's her problem. I respect it in her house, but in the real world, common sense, logic, reason & facts have to prevail. You can't just assign your own personal meanings to words, like some nizzles try to do. I don't know who the fuck Dr. Laura is & I don't care. Probably no more of a Dr. than Dr. Phuckhead Phil, but she's absolutely right & these Turks are just offended rather than objective, just like almost everyone else. I side with the caller in the sense that her husband (and only him) should care more about his wife's personal feelings than the company of his dopey friends. Define "nigger" you cry babies. It's just a word, and as such, people WILL ALWAYS use it. You can give it power by making it a big deal, or take it away by taking it for what it is. "Nigger" is a rednecked extrapolation of the word "negro". It still just means "person with black skin". Laura didn't say "all" niggers voted for Obama 'cuz he was half black, she said "a lot".
