*Edit*

I finally made the video that I promised to make of my rebuilt Dimension 4100. Check out the video response to see!

**

I bought it directly from Dell in late 2000 with Windows ME installed until April 2006 I upgraded to XP Home. Now I am at Vista Home Premium, and planning on upgrading the mobo.

Edit:

Yes, I know it runs a bit slow, but what do you expect from a Pentium 3? I am not made of money to get a top-of-the-line system right now so don't state the obvious.

  • yes it meats min specs = slow lol

  • @crystalscan2002 Says someone that can't spell "meets" properly... =P Also, I've seen much slower Vista setups, mainly due to poor maintenance and stuff. I know Vista isn't nearly as bad as people criticize it as, and I've actually been fairly happy with it until switching over to 7 when that rolled around.

on the contrary i just lost my windows 7 64 bit due to hard drive failure -which was 1 yr 2 months old! both are compaqs ..

so ya heres what i gotta say windows 7 is more prone to viruses then any other windows os ever. i even restored the 7 , 2 days prior to its hard drive failure!

  • What's the song's name?

  • hey i need help with my dell dimension xps t850r can you help me?

  • ive outdone myself this time~ windows me on vista

  • @zapper067 explain how one sucks and the other doesn't, because I hardly noticed a difference other then bug fixes.

  • @ScienceOfThePS3 Vista sp0 sucks like shit and sp1 rocks!

  • @ScienceOfThePS3 I have Vista Intel Dual CPU T3400, 2.16Ghz, 4 gB RAM, 32-bit, Pentium 4 (ofcourse), Dual core from Sony. It's service pack 1, but still... FULL of bugs, uses much memory (starts with 1,10 gB), when I play a normal game it increases to 1,50 gB memory and it laggs like hell. Believe me, windows XP is the best version of Windows ever had. You can also buy a brand new computer with windows 95/98, it's very fast, but many softwares can't be installed on it. So I choose windows XP! :)
