08/09 was Manuel Almunia's best season so far, he saved Arsenal countless points and, to those that were paying attention, cemented himself as one of the top keepers in the country at the time.

Failed keeper. When Jens played he not only made great saves, he spread confidence into the defenders infront of him, he would even scream and push them out if the way if needed. So much character, crazy on the field and yets when he gave interviews he was the softest gentlemen.

LLOK,almunia is brilliant ok every match he looks so scared and nerves,he could even curl up in a ball and hug the goal post for the 90 minites because wenger roars at him and blames him for there losses or drwas,when fabregas and versie are doing fuck all up forword

How did he lose all confidence so quickly. its like he was world class one year than in a couple of months couldn't catch a ball if he had 57 hands

Not a bad keeper, this standard has deteriorated by him a bit though, I haven't seen much of this in the new season
