The Hinsons have always been my favorite Gospel group and Kenny will always be my favorite solo singer. Those of us who got to see them perform live didn't realize how blessed we were at the time. Thanks so much for sharing this....

I think the whole family needs to get together and make a dvd. A tribute to Kenny and history of their family. Kind of like a Hinson Homecoming (like Gaither does)

Yes it was. It's now called Living Waters Worship Center, but it was the Ocala Church of God in 1987.

The Hinsons need a Reunion Tour with Weston Hinson, Bo Hinson, Yvonne Hinson, Larry Hinson and Ronnie Hinson! Talk about Reviving the Original Hinson Style of Singing with all new Spirit Filled Songs!! That would be a Dream Church Reviving /Soul Saving Revival Tour! The Hinsons The Best Gospel Group Ever!!!

Best gospel group ever? Absolutely. Reunion Tour with Weston, Bo, Yvonne, Larry and Ronny? Not so sure. If they did one, I'd go, but it just wouldn't be the same without Kenny. No doubt it would be an enjoyable experience, but I'm afraid that people expecting a re-creation of the original Hinson magic would be a bit disappointed. No one can ever fill Kenny's shoes and his absence would be painfully noticeable.
