@XRGiceman Since it is 2011, The R8 is still the most successful Audi. The R8 is one of the most successful cars in sports car racing. It ranks right up there with the Porsche 962 and Ferrari 333SP. The R10 and R15 was not nearly as successful as the R8. Most of that is because of the Peugeot 908!

the success the R8 had inspired me to be really interested in Le Mans - the hell with NASCAR - want to test skills as an engineer? race Le Mans or the Nordescheilfe! I already have my mechanical engineering degree, so now I have to figure out how to get connected with the racing field. My dream job before I retire in this field - design a Le Mans prototype for haha Le Mans and race it, be involved with a team that will race there - that would be quite an accomplishment testing wits.
