National Geographic Remote-controlled Tarantula

Remote-controlled spider supposedly feels real. It runs off of two triple A batteries. When on, those freaky eyes are red. Its controller runs off of two double A batteries, and only gives your spider the opportunity to move forward and clockwise.

The box includes:

`One 3D poster of the Mexican Red Knee Tarantula with nine facts about the species
`One pair of 3D glasses
`Instructions on battery installation/safety

Why I bought this? I'm terribly afraid of spiders and felt this would be useful in ridding myself of the ridiculous phobia. I've used another method, but the winter has thwarted progression.

This is REALLY cool. If you have kids and hope they won't grow to fear something that is harmless more afraid of them, this would be a perfect preventive tool. Maybe they will aspire to be entomologists ^_^
