  • Haitian people are wonderful they are so nice and caring I hope all haitians and haiti the best of luck.

  • Thanks

  • The thing with American movie's is that they often screw around the historical facts of other countries (Braveheart, Genghis Khan - starring John Wayne??!!) but the films based on their own history are usually good and accurate (Glory, Gettysburg etc).

It would be nice for a Black director to care enough to do all he can to give this movie an authentic feel such as using at least some Haitian actors and hopefully not a totally American cast (I say this as a non Haitian).

    Though time will tell.

  • I agree with you.

  • Haiti is so dirty i love that comments in every place there is a ghetto I dont care where you go last time I check Miami had a ghetto Los Angeles has Ghetto. Haiti has more than what white Americas shows. No matter what they will never forget how strong the Haitian people really are and what they came to get on that island that they couldn't keep. All i see is beauty.

  • No problem you guys are real good people. I went to a Haitian SDA church once with a friend and I was welcome, they were so nice it's like I was being caterd to. I also love their food.

  • ya , i wonder about the sixteen million dollars that he recceived during the quake . haiti's population is only ten million people .

  • Your the idiot, why would america waste resources to mess up Haiti. There's no gain and no reason to as Haiti is no threat.

It's the countries own corruption and bad leaders. Along with the fact that the island has no large resources. Corruption and greed are the reason Africa, south and central America, eastern Europe and Asia are all messed up.

  • @dadecountyhustler305 you obviously are stupid to believe that, us government are the causes of all this for corrupting the country for so long without any outside influence haiti would have flourished in a successfull and great country long ago.

  • France should have never left Hat 200 yrs ago. blacks cant govern themselves properly. Just look at Africa...

  • @Thedarksecret1 ah. come on man, you see shit like that in the u.s. all the time. matter of fact, that's why they go to poor countries and adopt kids. if you look for videos on slavery and human trafficking in the u.s., you'll find plenty of stuff. once again, they r trying to put haitians down by showing that type of stuff which they have going on in their own country. i ain't saying haiti's not in a mess right now. just don't overgeneralize the facts.

  • @steevedabig1 If you think that what I'm saying is bullshit go to this video on youtube: Poverty in Haiti spawns child slavery 13 October 2008. Yeah, there must be a part of Haiti that you've never heard of. How can the media lie about something like this when it is a fact that Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Are you going to say that's a lie too? Most Haitian are trying to get into the Dominican Republic just like the Mexicans are trying to get into the US. Fix it!

  • @Thedarksecret1 eat mud cakes. that all u know. for ur information, most haitians eat better than the average american since our food's naturally grown while american food is grown with chemical products. y do u think so many americans r overweight, too much junk. n where did u hear that there is indentured servitude in haiti. you r just overgeneralizing facts n u r using what u see on tv which is the worse to judge.I can use the image of new orleans to say the u.s is poor but it wont be true.

  • @steevedabig1 First, how am I putting myself down to say that I'm lucky to be born in America? I was born post-Civil rights and I don't live in abject poverty. Haiti and Africa are by far some of the poorest and weakest continents/countries. Why would I want to live in a country where the majority of the people eat mud cakes and practice forms of indentured servitude? Millions of Haitians try their hardest, floating on rafts, to get to Miami ports. Why would I want that for myself?

  • @Thedarksecret1 I use the sarcasm to show u that college isn't a big deal 4 me. Guess who's talking to u. A 17 yr-old already in his 3rd semester in college. yeah, ever heard of early admission? 2nd, I’m not trying to compare Haiti to America. this whole argument started kuz you put yrself down as a black person saying your blessed to be a black man born in America, a place where black have been and r still being mistreated. Being black myself, i wouldn't have a pblm to be born in Afr. Be real

  • @steevedabig1 Haiti is THE POOREST country in the Western Hemisphere yet you say that it's the media. Yeah, I'm sure that Haiti does have beautiful places but so does Africa. That doesn't mean anything. Yes, going to college is a big deal. Judging from your sarcasm it's quite obvious that you don't value education. Where does Wycleaf live? Yeah, he lives in America. Ask yourself how many Americans would move to Haiti and contrast that with how many Haitians would move to America.
