Hull Vikings 'Never Forget'

As we prepare for another year without Speedway in Hull, I wanted to remind the City of just what we have been missing for the last few years....this is a flick back over the last 30 years, capture in 5 minutes...thanks for all those that gave me permission for material, and apologies for those that didn't, but it's all in a good cause....Never Forget!!!

I used to live near Wimbledon and that got taken away from us so I know how you feel. I now live in Hull so was very interested in this vid.

luved this vid......i used to go to The Boulevard when i was kid to watch the vikings...was in my blood as i lived down carrington st(mum is still there !!).....watching from threepenny stand or bunkers hill above the pits...even stayed to watch the 'young un's at the end of the match,then back home and a bath for school the next day...brought a tear and a lump to the throat...and so many memories........long live the vikings.

Glad you liked it mate, the 'young uns'! Wondered if that might have been Paul Kirkwood, and Terry Logan?? I ended up buying Terrys bikes, along with Steve Bulless...wonder where he is now..?

I was on the track staff during the "New" vikings at Craven Park
Was there the night the Triple was completed
Watching this gave me a tear in the eye, and tears at 3.25 seeing the track being ripped up

I too was on the track staff Tony...at the 'old' Vikings, but the break up of the club was as bitter second time around as it was the first time.....glad you enjoyed the vid, just wanted to put something down for posterity...and Never Forget!

Sorry Hull Vikings fans, but the audio has been removed as it infringes copyright ;(, therefore I am investigating if permission can be granted to keep it on....unlikely, but if you don't ask...you dont get!
