See a live demonstration of the 45-nm DesignWare PHY and controller IP for PCI Express® 2.0 operating in a single-lane configuration at 5 GT/s. The demonstration verifies 5 GT/s operation using the PCI® Tree software and executes Reads and Writes between the demo hardware and a PC to show throughput performance levels.
I'm Confused. I have an Abit IP43 Motherboard and on the box packaging it states and I quote: "New Generation PCI-E X16 (Express 2.0)" But the thing is, is that I downloaded Tech Power Up and it currently states that my ATI 4670 HD is on a PCI-Express x16 v1.1. Does this mean my PCI-E slot is not an actual PCI-E 2.0 slot and can't run the new 5800 series at all...?
