Classic Game Room HD - GALAXIAN for Atari 2600 review

Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of GALAXIAN for the Atari 2600. Not to be confused with Galaga, this is a different game. Similar in style to Space Invaders or Demon Attack, Galaxian is a fun 1980's arcade retro classic that is fun to pick up and play. Shoot the aliens before they shoot you, it's that simple. The early 80's style of Galaxian makes it a popular game today, it is easy to collect for your Atari VCS 2600 game collection and has a bright, colorful design on the packaging. Everyone like Galaxian. You should name your dog Galaxian.

Be sure to watch the original Classic Game Room episodes. Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999-2000, now on DVD. Wii, PS3, Xbox 360.

I think I played this game at some point. One thing I can say is that I really love the art on 2600 cartridges, this one in particular has a nice epic feel to it.

Funny I always confused Galaxian and Galaga too. I always for some reason thought Galaxian was the sequel to Galaga. Not the other way around.

The galaga on xbox live is so not a galaga game it looks nothing like the arcade but the arcade is related to this as mark said

To me the ship resembles the USS Enterprise (at least in the arcade) and the sequel Galaga has ships like the X-Wing.
