2 Mic Drum Recording Setup

Sennheiser e609 pointed at the beaters from outside of the ported hole on my new bass drum resonant Evans Onyx head.
AKG vocal mic of some sort (sorry, it's not really mine) being held by hairbands (lolwut) suspended between my 10 and 12 toms pointing directly at the center of my snare head. Both are plugged into my Presonus Inspire connected to my iMac.

The bass drum channel was compressed and EQ'd in Garageband to boost the highs a bit and make it sound "clicky" but the snare channel you're hearing was not touched at all. The cymbals were just picked up by both mics and you can kinda hear the toms but in a song mix, they're hardly audible.

I'll be uploading a song some time soon with the drums recorded this way and I'm quite satisfied with the results I'm getting so if anything, I'll only be purchasing 2 more dynamic mics for my toms in the near future.

how do you make the two mics on seperate tracks? what device do you have to do that?

@TheAirsoftcrazy I was using a PreSonus Inspire interface to connect the mic's to my iMac and you select the inputs on different tracks.
