  • interesting how Bergman kind shifts the questioning from him onto Cavett. but later answers the question. interesting.

  • yes..he is interesting :) it's sad that most people saw him as a grumpy old man.

  • thanks for uploading the entire program, i've been wanting to see the whole thing for a while. How come the first two parts are in the wrong aspect ratio though, it seems weird that the other clips are in the right one. Anyway, right aspect ratio or not, thanks so much for uploading this!

  • I had a little trouble with the software I was using. Had to switch to something else. And I'm no expert on making videos :)

  • Marvelous interview. Thanks for posting.

  • I'm gonna upload the whole show soon.

  • @shironantony Oh really? Would you prefer that Bergman be interviewed by Letterman, Leno, O'Brien or Ferguson? Talk about dumb assholes, they're nowhere nearly as good as Dick Cavett.

  • thanks for this one who uploaded this video

  • @xaxie1 Seventh "Vale" ???

    :L Teenage Brits...

  • Seventh Vale :L Americans...

  • the line between genius & mental illness is very thin....RIP Ingmar ,the movie genius.

  • How could Bergman talk to such a dumb asshole as Dick? It's really a shame!

  • @leojerdi we might want to check in with his kids on that...

  • @TheseFavoriteMovies grump old man? show me the people that see him as such if anything i see bergman a specimen of human perfection. Zarathustra that came down from his cave and attempted to free the world. Bergman is beautiful and i would never compare him to the trash they call art movies know-days. I am sure u feel the same a honorary mention would also be tarkovsky and Theodor Dreyer

  • Thank You for to place this interview.
