This is a remembrance of 9/11 and a pictorial salute to "New York's Bravest" with appropriate musical accompaniment. Daniel Rodriquez sings "Into the Fire"

  • @007chucknorris007 Interesting point. Although the numbers of people killed by terrorism is dwarfed by those killed by much more mundane things such as heart disease and air pollution.

I think the fear of terrorism is disproportionate to the actual risk.

  • @checkyoursources It was a changing day for the nation a day when we were all scared and unsure. I don't consider their lives to be more important. I hold it to be important because it showed that we aren't unbeatable.

  • @007chucknorris007 "Don't try to change the topic just because you know you've been beaten." - an odd comment, I wasn't aware we were in competition, I thought we were having a discussion?

By the way how many people did you know who were in the twin towers?

If the answer is none, then why do you hold it to be more important than say kids killed by a drunk drivers over the last 10 years?

  • @checkyoursources It was a day that brought our nation together, I think it should have emphasis put on it, that wasn't my point either. We were having a discussion on the memorials for Iraqi citizens vs. memorials for U.S. soldiers. Don't try to change the topic just because you know you've been beaten.

  • @007chucknorris007 I think it's more the interntional media expectation that everyone from everywhere should watch the US memorial services and that so much more emphasis is put into it above other memorials including other US disasters. It can come across as false mourning if you see what I mean?

  • @checkyoursources In the U.S. we have more memorials for our fallen citizens, in Iraq they have more memorials for their fallen citizens. It's just natural.

  • Does anyone else feel that the ratio of remembrance services for those who died in 9/11 to services for civilains who died as a result of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan somewhat skewed as if US citizens are in some way more important than an Iraqi kid killed by a poorly aimed missile? Just a thought.

  • Gorgeous way to remember 9/11 - thankyou xxx
