Mother 3 - Final Boss Chapter 4

Yep! More Mother 3, this time I advanced further. About finishing chapter 4, this time Lucas and his pet Boney, are on charge on beating the next final boss which is... a Bass? Well, not only a simple Bass a Jealous one, wonder if that can compare the toughness of a Pig Tank...

Well, in either case this guy is not alone, if you don't take out his companions ASAP, they will perform a "Jam session" which constantly hit your characters like 4 times and you don't want that. The DCMC equipment comes in handy at it can raise Lucas' speed fairly. Hence he could strike before the Bass could at first turn, the rest was story.

And... nope, no more added music this time. Guess I want to leave things just like they are, enjoy.

I beat him the kinda hard way, first I used the thunder bomb and then PKLove and bashed him with Boney and used PKLove with Lucas. Eventually I beat him on the 5th try. It took me this long because I dont read jap. and I hardly know what the item is.

Oh, I tried throwing the Thunder Bomb but it seems to do less damage to them than the Pencil Rocket does. Moreso, there are good Mother3 guides on GameFaqs that can help with the Japanese terms.

As for the item problem, try pressing Select while you are in battle.

I use a patch that translates menus. Way easier.

This game and Legend of Dragoon are the only RPGs that I know of where the music changes when you go into the menu. :)
