And it was announced that she will receive a Kennedy Center Honor award this year. Couldn't happen to a more fitting and appropriate artist. So glad that she is finally being recognized!

Barbara Cook. a national treasure. And her performance of Amanda McBroom's wonderful song "Errol Flynn" is truly beautiful. McBroom's father was David Bruce, who was Deanna Durbin's leading man twice (as well as working with Errol) but his career kind of fizzled out, which does add an additional poignancy to the song
