excellent lift mate....I am just wondering, I love front squat, but the last time I did it I kinda injured my back (middle back, not lower). I was sure my lower back was straight and my spotter said so,and I used belt that time. My grip was crossed grip, it was my 8RM, obviously not very heavy and quite a lot lighter than my back squat. Any word of advice? btw, what is that thing u are using to place the bar called? Thank you
Front squats are great exercise, the biggest problem with them is mastering the form. The device I'm using is a front squat harness made be Louie Simmons (Westside barbell) Kinda takes all the balancing problems out of the lift.
I'm not surprised it was your middle back, alot of pressure there with these. Much like Zerchers, I love them, but you have to respect them also. Take it light, add ghr's and hypers. Thanks for the kind words, Jeff
