Hey everyone, here is the promised horse show video! Luckily I didn't procrastinate toooo much, and I finished it last night. It took a while to save and upload. Movie Maker kept freezing at a certain percentage when I tried to save, it was SO frustrating. Luckily once I removed a certain effect, it worked fine. :)

So, this was from last Sunday, at the Windsor Show. I took Charlie, because Flag developed an abscess as you all know. I was a litle worried at first, because I hadn't been riding him much before the show, but he was fantastic! I was so, so, SO happy with how the day went. We only placed in two classes (out of 5 classes), but that's totally fine with me because I know we did great anyways. This show brought my confidence up so much, and I think it helped push me out of the slump I was in when it came to feeling like I'm a crappy rider. We got a 6th place in Senior Hunter, and a 5th place in Hunter Hack 18" Crosspoles. Besides those, we also entered Senior Equitation, Senior English Pleasure, and we also did two rounds in a crossrail class.

Anyways, enough rambling... enjoy the video, sorry for the wait everyone! I am planning on entering another show before the end of the summer, and if all goes well and he doesn't injure himself again, we'll take Flag. :)

  • awesome job what ur horses name??

  • Where is this show located?

  • ur a really good rider!! Great job!!!

  • I think your riding is beautiful! :)

You do the same thing with your elbows/arms I do though, my instructor calls it chicken wings lol. Just keeping your upper arms along your body/side instead of elbows pointing out and away from your sides. Youre a much better rider then I am though, grats on placing! :)
