@ryancordner while all we do is use Adobe Visiual Communicator with a camera on a fire wire, with a computer on an Adverkey, and going into a switcher that goes to a transmitter to send it through the school. all we do is just set the intro, names, and outro screen, and click rehearse and next effect. that plus audio is on a seprate mixer, and the second camera is directly into the swithcer

Reminds me of "Anatomy of a Newscast" that WHYY produced for all of the PBS stations years ago. They did that with KYW. I'd give my right arm for a copy of that one.
