From 10am-3pm on Saturday, October 1 seven blocks of State Street in Chicago was transformed in to an ultimate playground for pedestrians to play, walk, bike and enjoy healthy recreation in a car-free environment. Active Transportation Alliance in partnership with Chicago Loop Alliance presents Open Streets on State Street. Come out and experience your city streets in a whole new way. Enjoy free bike and skate board rentals, helmet fittings, mobile skate park, dunking booths, imagination playground, relay races, yoga, opera, roller disco, breakdancing and lots more!
