I remember crossing this bridge when I was a kid. My aunt and uncle live in Seneca it's where 2 of my cousins, my dad his brother and both of their sister were raised there on Main Street. My late Grandma and Grandpa's house is the yellow house on Main Street. Weird that it's not there anymore.
Since that was the main span over the shipping channel it was most likely blown by itself so they can hurry up and clear the channel in the 14 hours the USCG has the river closed.
After that they pretty much blast the remaining super structure at their leisure with minimal interference to river navigation.
