@ilovetoscissor I think it's one third down. Not with the intent of cheating, but with the intention of doing it justice as much as possible, as I couldn't reach the high notes at the time of recording.

@polloflores Actually, he is singing it according to how it was written for the West Side Story sheet music book. It is also in this key in the movie. I don't know about the show though...I personally have been looking for the higher sheet music so I can sing it but can only find the lower ranged sheet music.

@Todboner I think the West Side Story vocal score has the higher version. Then it gives you the option to go to a B on the highest note or to keep it lower.

I've actually been told to use the transposed version in auditions to show off my baritone... its not like he was actually performing the role of tony, that would be a whole different story.

@ilovetoscissor Come on.... Some voices sit in different ranges. Doesn't mean you should be less impressed with his performance. Would you rather he strain the hell up there?
