My mom knows I'm Transgender but I don't know how to ask her to start me on T because she's 45 and when she grew up she never heard of anything like this so she don't understand so can someone tell me how to approach her with this?

im hopeing to start my trastion when i graduate high school this year...how long did you have to go to theripy? i cannot wait to start T im tierd of feeling like a freak because im not one gender nor the other and not close at all to the one i am on the inside

I actually went through 2 sessions of counselling and was approved to start using testosterone. But thats in San Francisco. In Michigan, they required a year of counselling and during that time you had to identify as a male (at work, school, anywhere in public, etc). Every state has different regulations. Where are you from? I know how you're feeling about the body dysphoria and not being comfortable in your own skin, it's not a good feeling, I totally relate. Try to hang in there.
